Questions? Here are some answers to the ones most commonly asked

I don't know what package is best for my dog. what do i do?

Don't worry! Fill out the contact form, give us a call, or even send an email and we would be happy to talk with you about your dog. Together we can figure out what your goals are for you and your dog and what package and training would work best.

Are we a good match?

We are not just looking for customers, we are looking for clients that want to change their life along with their dog's life. If you are 100% ready to help your dog succeed, then we are eager to help you.

Why do you use prong collars? Why do you use e-collars?

In my many years of training dogs, I've found that the prong collar is the easiest way to effectively communicate with a dog. While the prong may look terrible to some, it actually doesn't hurt the dog! We use them in a gentle way to guide our dog with pressure.  This type of collar is the best way to get the lasting results people have been wanting out of their dog.

An e-collar (or electronic collar) is another tool that may scare some, but is a tool that will transform a dog. We use a low level e-collar communication-style set up, that for dogs works wonders.  The e-collar gives dogs and their owners the freedom to be reliably off leash and to listen to commands.

Do you help rescues/shelters?

Yes! We know every rescue and shelter operates differently. First check to see if balanced methods are accepted, as many shelters/rescues will only use treat training. Then, please get in touch with us to see if the dog can be accepted into one of our programs.

I've brought my dog to classes before and he is still bad, what makes this training any different?

We focus on real world training and your dog behaving in any situation. We've all been to a group class and seen all the dogs being perfect angels, then as soon as they leave all hell breaks loose again. This leaves the owners frustrated with their dog and not understanding why the training isn't working for them. Some people will go on to continue the class, but most people (especially with a difficult dog) will drop out of class. We will work together to show your dog right and wrong not only inside, but outside when things are going on.
We are different than other trainers becuase we focus on the relationship you and our dog. We make the communication clear and concise, resulting in fantastic long lasting dog training. We show you HOW to get the results you are looking for, so you can troubleshoot if a problem does pop up.

Another trainer (or my friend/insert anyone here) said we should give my dog away because he is so bad. we love him. can you help us?

Yes! Send us an email or give us a call and we can figure out the training plan that is right for you.

Can I come visit my dog during his board and train?

Unfortunately, no. Most dogs in for a board and train need to reset their minds away from their owners. At the end of the training process the owner is involved and will be able to see their dog. During their stay check out our facebook page where we post the progress of the dogs that are staying with us.

Do you offer a guarantee on my dog's training?

We cannot offer any type of guarantee on the dogs training because there is a large amount of variables when the dog leaves our facility. But, we only work with the best clients that are willing to give it their all, and because of this you become one of the family! We are always here to help out a dog that has seen us before.

What happens after you/we train my dog?

Once you are a part of our training family, we are happy to help you if any problem arises! Once we have helped you, you receive free email/text support. If you are willing and eager to learn, we are very excited to help.
